The ambition for "DisP/ay" is to streamline and enhance the workflow of in-house art curators, enabling them to efficiently manage and showcase changing artworks across four seasons. The goal is to create a user-friendly visualization program that simplifies the curation process, fosters creativity, and ensures seamless transitions between art installations.
Intuitive Interface
Develop an intuitive and user-friendly interface for "DisP/ay" that simplifies navigation and enhances usability. Utilize clear visual cues, intuitive controls, and logical layout to facilitate efficient workflow management for art curators, regardless of their level of technical expertise.
Dynamic Artwork Management
Implement a robust artwork management system within "DisP/ay" that allows curators to easily upload, categorize, and organize artworks for each season. Provide features for tagging, sorting, and searching artworks by artist, medium, theme, or other relevant criteria to streamline the curation process.
Virtual Gallery Simulation
Incorporate a virtual gallery simulation feature into "DisP/ay" that allows curators to visualize how artworks will be displayed within physical gallery spaces. Provide 3D rendering capabilities to create realistic simulations of gallery layouts, wall placements, lighting conditions, and other environmental factors to facilitate effective artwork placement and installation planning.
